Telma's Happy VIE

Telma comes from the city of “Coração” in Portugal. Originally, she has a degree in sociology and worked in this field for 10 years. When her daughter was born, Telma decided to follow her creative and artistic inclination.

The first thing she remembers doing with her hands were the clothes of her Tucha doll (the doll before Barbie in Portugal) when she was 10 years old. She organized fashion shows with her own models! Today she has her own studio in Lisbon where she gives free rein to her different artistic passions.

Telma's Happy STYLE

His work is the fruit of his passion for textiles, embroidery, illustration and photography.

In her happy atelier, she collects vintage fabrics, is passionate about old family photos to which she brings back life through her beautiful embroideries. She likes to play with the different colors of embroidery threads and creates very poetic embroidered winks around the characters.

Why we LOVE Telma

Telma is a multi-talented artist who uses her manual gift to transform any object into a work of art. Like many Portuguese people, she is very concerned about keeping a trace of the past and likes to bring memories back to life in more artistic forms. Her work of embroidering photos is very meticulous, she takes care to analyze each portrait and bring out the beautiful details through her embroidery.
