Born in Paris, she spent a large part of her youth there before moving to the west, not far from the Atlantic beaches. She trained in painting and drawing at the Ateliers de Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris. With a degree in Art History, she is very interested in the techniques of the masters of the past, which she learned by copying at the Renaissance workshop.

Sophie's Happy STYLE
Her paintings are meant to be testimonies of the scenes of life that surround us. In an urban or seaside environment, she paints characters taken from life, who walk, talk, read, dream or wake up. It is life, in its banality, in its furtive moments of happiness, of letting go, that interests her. She paints in oil, mostly on canvas (and sometimes on wood), and makes her own mediums and varnishes, as in the old days.
Condensed of color, light and line, his colored universes leave room for both drawing and painting.
Why we LOVE Sophie
Nothing is more moving than the simple joys of everyday life. Sophie is a privileged witness of this and extends with great delicacy the little joys of everyday life.
We admire the mastery of the style and the choice of colours that transform his scenes into a masterpiece!
