Olivier experimented with many recycling techniques before finally settling on tape art. This technique of using different coloured tape on wallpaper allows him to create very detailed scenes as well as portraits.
He uses a limited range of colours which are more than enough for his expression. He likes to suggest volumes by playing with light and shadow contrasts.
Olivier scotched us with his tape art portraits so full of emotion. From afar, his works look like a painting, from close up, we can guess the colored adhesive tapes used to create the play of light. A work of goldsmith which bluffs us and moves us at the same time!
