The Happy Life of Maxime

Father hen, epicurean, bon vivant, adventurer, passionate, attentive, funny, rather handsome (my mother says so) …. The ideal man in fact!

He was working for a big tourist company and he left everything to live of his passion, the drawing.

Maxime's Happy STYLE

His technique consists in scribbling again and again on his support until the subject appears. He must find the perfect balance between light and shadow. To do this the model must be composed of areas of sharp shadows contrasted by other areas very bright.

His objective: to scribble to sublimate.

Why we LOVE Maxime

We don’t choose our artists because they are handsome but if that was the case, we would have chosen Maxime too!

It is by his talent that this incredible drawer seduced us. The line is messy, scribbled and yet … the resemblance is striking as if his eye had photographed his subject to guide his hand! We love the line that ends with his signature.

The technique is well honed as the portraits are precise and full of emotion, great art!
