Born in the heart of the Vosges forest, I grew up with a pencil and a brush in my hand and turned to studying art at high school. After a detour by the profession of nurse, I decided to trade pricking and care for a palette and canvases! I draw my inspiration from my (large) family life and my travels (near and far). For a year now, I’ve been working on a shelf but I haven’t abandoned “traditional” tools. What I like the most: to give a smile to people who discover my work, to offer them a small “madeleine de Proust”, a return to childhood in a few strokes of the pen!

Carole's Happy STYLE
My style is figurative with a touch of retro! I work with digital tools but still like the contact with the material.
My creations are “childhood moments” or “slices of family” that I draw and paint on a tablet with my pen and then print them.
Why we LOVE Carole
Carole touched us with her portraits of children. She reminds us of the illustrations in the books that our parents used to read to us before we went to sleep.
But don’t get me wrong, she draws both wacky families and crowned heads. Her vintage style plunges us with delight into a sweet nostalgia!
