The Happy Life of Polette

“Beware of appearances…”

Inspired by fashion, where she worked as a stylist, and the pop art movement, Polette creates works in “trompe l’oeil”. In a light appearance of the subjects, she sows clues that translate her thoughts tinged with spirituality and psychology, without ever trying to be moralizing.

The result is a world of dreams mixed with urban dreaminess and absolute beauty, where frivolity rubs shoulders with existential questions and where ambivalence enriches the subject.

The Happy STYLE of Polette

Marked by the Polaroid of her childhood, she adopted and enlarged them for her creations. Her singular techniques are the happy alliance of graphic media and mixed techniques (collage, still, acrylic, glitter, vinyl, resin etc…) favouring an appropriate use of aluminium, Plexiglas or wood supports.

Why we LOVE Polette

Who hasn’t dreamed of being on the cover of a prestigious magazine, who hasn’t dreamed of being a star for a day, of being as glamorous as a Claudia Shiffer or a Kate Moss.

With Polette everything is possible, she makes us beautiful and self-confident, she makes us shine with a thousand lights. It is of course with a certain distance, humour and second degree that this transformation takes place…but the most important thing is obviously to believe in it!
